Episode Two is available now. Apologies to my Louet Hat Box which I called an Ashford and it's model is an S40 not 45. One of those tired brain mornings! Lighting is a little on the dark side and I'll work on having more light before the next episode in the house. Cathi and I will be post casting next weekend from Lexington, VA at the Virginia Llama and Alpaca Classic. Hope you will come back to join us then. Many thanks to all of you who left such encouraging comments. They mean the world to me!

  1. Wonderful. As someone who is interested in spinning but has not attempted it as of yet. I got to see what to use which is just wonderful. Keep up the good work! P.S. I wanna know the girls names! and Mocha and Latte make me smile :)

  2. Thanks! I'll be sure to get Karen to introduce the girls next time she is down. I'm so glad you like Mocha and Latte. They are both rescue alpacas and we took them out of a very nasty junkyard. Not knowing their names (I doubt they've ever had them) I thought they just kind of reminded me of coffee and cream. They produce the most amazing fiber. Both have low micron counts and are so soft. Latte had over 11 lbs of blanket fiber last year and Mocha had right around 10. Most alpacas have around 4 to 5 lbs of good fiber. Those two were quite the fuzzy boys before shearing.
